Nah, you just seem to hate me for some reason and love to come of at me. I named a notorious movie (at least for the concept), thinking that people will get the reference. Of course you don't have to watch it... I just think it's interesting think to do (travel, self-discover, indulge, meet people) if you have the funds. One learns lots about themselves when encountering others and encountering different and unknown. Few years ago, I travelled to Albania in the summer and met many people who were on self-discovery travels. It seemed to do them a lot of good Certainly seems nicer then blowing up big money for psychwards... and probably cheaper too.

I don't know if you know me from elsewhere, or why all the rage against my person, but it ain't pretty.

I actually read the book, over seeing the movie. I get your suggestion. The woman, after a bitter divorce, decided to just take her money and chose three various locations throughout the world, in order to discover herself and heal from the divorce and major life change, she'd overcome.

Took 1 year, three locations, and found herself, in the various places, doing much soul searching. One thing, I recall, was she felt she was meditating wrong. Then she had an epiphany of sorts.

I, actually, chose to read this one book, during the overcoming of realizing that there was nothing I could do, to salvage a marriage where it was less than kind to me. One of many books, I read, that was the summer of 17 books read.

Thanks for this!
