Hi, i'm new to this site. I live in England, 22, and recently found out i'm pregnant. i have very mixed feelings about this, firstly i am currently going through a very tough bout of depression, i've been off work since april and i have been taking Ciprolex/Lexapro 20mg for the depression and anxiety, quentiapine 25mg for "dark thoughts" (i thought that someone/something was tring to kill me, and i also take valium to stop my panic attacks which get so bad i've ended up in a&e! now that i'm pregnant i can no longer take this tablets, i've already gone through withdrawal twice.
secondly, i believe that the baby came about due to a manic phase i was going through.
I'm not at work currently and don't think i will be able to return before the baby is born. i worry for me and for my unborn child. could the panic attacks effect the baby?
it would be nice if i could hear from any mothers/-to-be out there, any advice would be warmly welcome! I am looking forward to being a mother, i'm just worried about the pregnancy and being a good mum.
Thanks for listening.
Sammy
