When I get irritated, sometimes in traffic, or in a store line, I back off and remind myself to "chill." I even try to put myself in the others' places to keep my balance.
I think a lot of the differences have to do with where one lives. I couldn't handle living in a crowded urban environment, and the daily chaos of rudeness. Patty |

I just want to apologize for referring to the elderly gentleman in front of me at Rite Aid, who didn't have any money for his prescriptions as a "sob story." As I read my previous post about that incident, I was embarrassed that I had referred to this as a "sob story." It is real and harsh and a fact of life these days that many seniors do not have money for their prescriptions. I think his bill only came to $16 or something like that, and why I didn't move forward and offer to pay for it, I don't know now! Anyway, folks, I am ashamed and I apologize that I termed it a "sob story." I truly know we could all be in this situation, life being what it is. I've even thought of going back and talking to the pharmacist and seeing if I can pay for his last meds anonymously. Maybe that is too much, but I feel bad for him.
