Thank you husband *sarcasm*

He told me he put dinner away right away, two nights ago.

He didn't. It was fine at dinner, that night.

I just threw up repeatedly from the leftovers Bad morning

I DETEST throwing up. I've told him again and again to put the food away as soon as it gets cool enough...not wait until morning. He doesn't listen. I hate lies, of any type, sooooo not happy with him right now. Bad morning

And one of my cats is being such a turd. She's annoying me, right now I don't even want to see her Bad morning

My morning, before I ate, was actually going quite good, too. Bad morning

That is downright dangerous. Give him some literature on the subject.

Wisewoman, hmm I should.

I've told him Why, but his response is that he never got sick from food left out. His mom left food out overnight for the kids to eat for breakfast before school. Bad morning

You are right about this. Certain cultures do leave food out and our bodies must build the digestive aides we use. I know that Portugese people leave food out a lot and they do not become ill. However, if you follow the USDA strict guidelines for food service you will see they are not thinking of anyone but our culture. You are sensitive and he needs to get on the ball or you need to stop trusting him. Passive aggressive?

depends on what kind of food..... some spoil dang quick. Maybe it would be safer to just put them in the fridge when they are a bit warm still and let them cool off and stay cold and not be on your mind or wrecking havoc with your guts.

I had a salad last week that the dressing must have been past prime and it shot through me at an utterly astonishing pace. (I"ll spare you the details, it's funny, now.....)

There are different kinds of food poisoning. Some will kill you.
Some won't. The feds put out info on food storage. I bet there is stuff online too. Be safe, if suspicious: toss.

Good Luck with educating hubby.

I had a friend whose family was like that. They'd get something like Kentucky Fried Chicken, eat what they wanted right then and put the rest in the OVEN. Like what is THAT going to do??? I never ate over there unless I actually saw the food being made and even then I would be kinda nervous. I think I would have to man the leftovers, you can get awfully sick from food poisoning. Hope you feel much better soon.

Ummm my x husband ate Prego spaghetti sauce with chunks of mold growing in it.... I told him not to eat it...... He picked out all the chunks of mold and then poured the sauce on his pizza for that extra kick... I am saying not one little clump of mold, but atleast two teaspoons of mold... Well he ate it.... He didn't even get sick that I know of...Maybe I was hoping too much... Bad morning
