>>It was my post and I felt I was dating myself...
![]() You're the one that has to be comfortable with it, but let me reassure you that i don't see that as "dating" yourself rather showing your taste and also that you have a wide range of taste and that is something i respect. lots of "young 'uns" also "rediscover" older things and fall in love with them too. i'm not a particular doors fan but i love a lot of classic rock, pop, jazz, soundtracks, and classical music. some people think my cd collection is rather nutty, but it pales in comparison tot he variety in my record collection (how's that for dating myself!) ![]() -- The world is what we make of it -- -- Dave -- http://www.idexter.com

DE,
I love it when you share the things that happened in your past. I know that you and I always talk about how much we hate getting older. But we can't change that, it's gonna happen. Next year I'm going to be 50 no matter how hard I try not to. So I say talk about whatever you want love. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who gets a kick out of it. I'll have to tell you about nearly getting arrested at an Alice Cooper concert in my younger days... I love you kiddo, Greg |

Oh, I do not mind getting older, ha!ha! In fact the little bits of white with my dark brown hair, I find amusing, I mean in my 20's I paid for "hilighting" and now nature is giving to me for free, or more like I "earned" them. People cannot believe I do not colour my hair, for 47 and have as dark of hair I still have. . . lucky me I guess, ha!ha!
Ah, I am not into that superficial stuff anyway, just like all kinds of music, animals and beautiful days ![]() Thanks everyone for your kindness on this one ![]() In giving advice seek to help, not please your friend SOLON

Hi Audrey,
I believe that a member has up to an hour to edit (which includes deleting) a post after they post it. After you make your post, you'll see the reply button in the upper right hand corner of your post. For one hour (I think) you'll also see a button named "edit" next to it. If you click on that, it will give you a list of things you can do to your post. I think that feature is there mostly so that if you should have writer's remorse and wish you hadn't written something, you can go back and edit it out, or delete the post altogether. The Moderators can edit a post at anytime provided they have rights to that particular forum. That usually only happens if someone uses profanity in a post, and then we'll either edit a few words, or delete the post. We should always follow that up with an explanation as to why we did it. We will occasionally lock a thread if it's getting out of control and members are getting on each other's nerves. That doesn't happen very often. I hope this explains things to you. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Greg |
