Hi, does anyone know what the difference between these 2 are? My husband has been diagnosed as Schizophrenic. however, his last episode was over 15 years ago. Each time, his episode lasted a month or 2. Am I just being hopeful? If anyone has any advice, it would be appreciated.

Flame;
It is possible to have psychotic episodes without actually having a mental illness such as schizophrenia.They can be triggered by any number of causes. Your husband would need to have all aspects of his condition evaluated by a competent physician/psychologist preferably both working together. best of luck mark Though inland far we be, Our souls have sight of that immortal sea Which brought us hither. William Wordsworth (1770–1850)
