I will be offline for a while has I am being evicted from this property after getting into a fight with my next door neighbour on Saturday, damage was caused to the property and the other person has been moved out already, I was arrested and charged with ABH (actual bodily harm) and have been released on police bail, so that was fun

I'm sorry that this happened to you. Please take care.

this is the lowdown on what happened, make your own mind up wether i was right or wrong,

i "sold" a pc with free internet to the person next door on the agreement that he would pay £30 every 2 weeks until the computer was paid for ( 5 payments in total) and included was free internet, he paid 1 instalment in 8 weeks so on saturday night i took the pc back after he refused to pay.

he was not happy and tryed to attack me, i called the police and by the time they turned up i was kicking the living daylights out of him, damage was caused to his door where his friend was locked in his room and couldnt get out, he had a pocket full of E's and did not want to be here when the police arrived.

he was moved out the same night whilst i was in police custody, i was charged with ABH and i am being evicted, this sucks, no it sucks big time.

i was supposed to have a swapover meeting today to move me from one mental health team to a better one, that was cancelled because they thought i was still in custody, i went to the mental health place earlier today and they said it would be ok, i get back home to find i am being evicted and the mental health team new about it but didnt tell me, so to say i am agreaved is an understatement.

Yes.... while I agree that YOU should have taken the PC back (as I would have did) - I cannot say that the extreme violence was the answer here...... IMO.

i agree that violence was not the appropriate answer but that was the only option i had left after he attacked me, go figure.

"Mellors, You've been through better but you've been through worst. You got mad, you beat somebody up, you beat a door up, too and now you're getting kicked out of where you live- but that's okay! You live and learn, right? Right.
Okay, so now's a great time for a spanking new fresh start. From what I've read in another post that place wasn't so hot anyway. You'll find a better place to live with better people and the next time, you'll get all the money up front before you sell a computer to somebody. As my sister says to me-think of this as tuition. I agree with you too that you had every right to take back the pc. maybe next time what will help is getting the agreement in writing right down to exact date of payments. That way when the payments don't come you can have the police get the pc back for you and you give back any payments that have already been made. That way the other person isn't out the money they paid in and you get the pc back.

Sorry to hear you are being evicted. here too they have the same rules that any physical violence between neighbors is cause for immediate eviction. Disagreements are fine because everyone in this complex is not going to agree with another all the time but if the disagreements involve violence those involved are out of here.

Glad though that you have other housing arrangements and that this situation didn't cause you to be knocked off the mental health teams list for help.
