An excellent article from CNN to promote psychological health in 2014. It gives 10 questions to ask of yourself. Give it a look!
Thanks for this!

Who you are

1. Think of something (an activity, a job) to which you're really committed and that takes up a lot of your time. Why do you do it? Do you consider it time well spent? Why or why not? What would make you stop being involved?

2. Who or what do you consider your community? What do you do for the community? What would you expect the community to do it for you?

3. To whom or what do you feel responsible? What does that entail? What happens when you don't meet that responsibility?

4. Are you a good worker? A good citizen? A good person? How do you distinguish among them? Which is most important to you?

Influences

5. Who's influenced you, and how do you pass it on?

6. What individuals and institutions do you admire and why (current or past)?

7. What/whom don't you admire and why?

8. What and whom do you love?

Aspirations

9. What would it mean for you to be successful? How important is recognition, through money or esteem? What about unheralded acts or contributions?

10. What would it mean for you fail? Who or what will make that judgment for you and about you?

11. What kind of person do you want to be right now?

12. What should -- and shouldn't -- be written in your obituary?

That last question, has me feeling, since I ripped up my living will, how all my emergency contact information needs to be updated, need to consider my children, etc.

Who or what determines 'failure', interesting one, to work on. Well, how my life's direction goes, this year, is a wee bit out of my hands. I am allowing a judge to decide, whether I can or cannot do something. Think I'll be sticking it out in therapy, for 2014. That's a lot of allowing someone else to make a decision for me. And the outcome, I will need logical/rational/non emotionally attached support.

2014, will be HUGE!!

2013 was about loss... I lost the one soul (cat) outside myself I was responsible for caring for. I had many failures at work. My work ethic which is normally really strong sunk to an all time low. I grew majorly depressed due to work, medicine and being surrounded by people that are not healthy for me.

And renewal...
My failures at work is a message to move on even if I have to move backwards to do it. That is one goal for 2014. (9), (1)
I have a great T and through her Brenė Brown is my biggest influence right now. I will continue.(5-7)
(10, I would replace) Brenė has a saying on her desk... What is worth doing even if you knew you would fail?
I dumped the bad environments and now I am more capable of seeing the signs before I get sucked in.

I would add what lessons have you learned and where do you want to apply them? Could probably use better wording.

Thanks for the link and posting them here. I made a copy to add to my journal prompts for 2014

I think every question needs some deep thought and reflection so will be addressing these questions soon.
