does anyone else ever feel like just wanting to pretend like none of this happened or is happening and go back to an oblivious state of blur, fog, and ignorance?

I've often wondered about this ...

I mean how come some of us become "aware" while others do not?

And if the knowing is worth the heartache of the healing and all.

i want both at the same time it seems... i wish i didnt know because back then even though i had problems feeling well i had ways of dealing with it without knowing what it was, and seems like learning what it is and whats happening only making it worse because its something out of my control that i SHOULD have control of.. now my old ways of handling it are nullified too
