You didn't press anything - it is part of the continued improvements Doc John is adding to the site.

Check out this thread - http://forums.psychcentral.com/showf...5&o=21&fpart=1

I have IE and by pressing CTRL + refresh - I was able to hide the forum index and get the new navigation bar instead.

Hope this helps.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.

dsf you can go back into your preferences (the second one I think) and make it so you don't come out to the main area/index, but open up to your own Home Page/mail box area. If you have your favorite members, and favorite threads listed, that would be your contact.

You can also select individual forums to view by selecting them (from the main area) into Favorite forum, then toggle to see ONLY those forums, not all available.

Good wishes!

btw, ppl who don't sign in don't see the new task bar (at least I don't) so if it bothers someone, they can read posts before signing in and posting??? Just a thought. Change is hard for many members. Ok how do I get rid of ...

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
