This annoying forum index that appears every time I come to the site ...?
Then I have to scroll down to the actual forums - what did I press to make it look like this?? help appreciated! ![]() |

You didn't press anything - it is part of the continued improvements Doc John is adding to the site.
Check out this thread - http://forums.psychcentral.com/showf...5&o=21&fpart=1 I have IE and by pressing CTRL + refresh - I was able to hide the forum index and get the new navigation bar instead. Hope this helps.

dsf you can go back into your preferences (the second one I think) and make it so you don't come out to the main area/index, but open up to your own Home Page/mail box area. If you have your favorite members, and favorite threads listed, that would be your contact.
You can also select individual forums to view by selecting them (from the main area) into Favorite forum, then toggle to see ONLY those forums, not all available. Good wishes!

btw, ppl who don't sign in don't see the new task bar (at least I don't) so if it bothers someone, they can read posts before signing in and posting??? Just a thought. Change is hard for many members.
