I got into a car accident today.
My uncle had picked me up so I could watch their two daughters that day, and on the way there, a car drove right from the freeway to a normal strip mall area. The idiot didn't slow down or give any signal, and he ran right into my uncle's car. The very front. My entire body thrust foreword but I was held back by the seat belt. It happened so quickly. My uncle cursed and turned into the parking lot next to us almost immediately, and a heavy feeling in my body settled just as quickly. And my ears popped. Weird. No one was hurt, but the front of the car was pretty damn messed up. It was snowing and it was freezing outside, but we stayed in the car, making calls to my mom, his wife, 9-1-1. Of course they didn't respond to a non injury issue. It was confusing and shocking and I was still processing everything. So many peopled walked up to our car and asked us if we were OK. Yes, we're fine. Roll up the windows, continue with our many calls. We drove all the way to my uncle's home, but the car made a horrible humming sound that made me think it would explode at any minute, what with the hills and snow. I was Ok, I was OK, I was not OK. We got home, and I watched the two girls for five hours, not wanting to tell the 6 and 4 year old the details of the sudden moment in time that we had called a car crash. My uncle drove me back home in their other, not ruined car, both having the same thought in our head. Please don't crash again, please. I'm home now, a small headache in my head, thinking about this hole ordeal. I wasn't hurt. I hope so. If my neck is hurt, my uncle told me, when i wake up, go to the hospital. I'm scared. No one was injured it seems though, no one was killed, but I still get a sickening feeling in my stomach when i think about it.

Ive been in several accidents and i still can't believe i'm alive i guess im just still supposed to be here for some reason. One thing i would like to do but can't because of my disability is to help people who have been in accidents. Now i don't like to go anywhere unless it is vital i get to what have to do in the day. I have broken bones, mental issues i had even before the accidents. If there is somewhere on this site to help these people i would like to be guided to how to get to them. i will willingly help.
Thanks for this!

How did you neck turn out? I sometimes still have trouble from an accident 40 years ago. The chiropractor helps some. I hope you're feeling better soon emotionally and physically.
