The need to run away.. Still follows me. I've always had this strong desire to walk or run far far away.. As a little girl I ran away from home during the middle of the night in my nightgown, brought home by the police. Today I have that same need to run away.. Nothing fulfills me and recently I've come across such a hard time in my life. I feel it's all not worth it. I find no excitement in life.. And want to leave it all behind.. This need has never left me..

It is never fun to deal with a hard time or problem in life but one cannot have the opposite until one does. In nightmares we are told to confront the monster or it will just keep chasing us. That is similar to what life is like. Yes, life is a "quest" but we have to experience the bad times as well as the good times, just "running" is not able to give us what we really want? Dealing with the hard time and problem gives us experience and pride in our accomplishments ("I slayed that dragon!") but running just keeps the fear and boredom close.
