More bad news

Last month I received notice that I was eligable for State Medical Assistance..... Today I got notification that it was a mistake on their part. I make to much money. I don't make enough money for me. The womyn told me to get a job for about 40 hours a week. I told her I would like nothing better. If I could work, I would.... as a Master's Degree Nurse, with over thirty years experience I could make a good living. I don't feel that it would be safe for my patients. I feel there is no reason to go on...... this is just one in many things that is bringing me down. Oh well.......

I hear you. What a tough time for you. Hope tomorrow is a better day. I am not working either. Just can't go there anymore and wonder what I will do. i think we just work too hard and the toll it takes on us messes us up and then what? I just roll with the good days and the bad i hope passes fast so I won't notice. May the bad pass fast for you also.

I wonder, since you need more income, can you speak to admin where you do work, and see if you can put in more time in another capacity? Or find a different stress load job like answering nursing questions on a hotline for an insurance company or reviewing files or something? What about med tech stuff, typing up notes? Sorry, I don't know you well, but maybe something I suggested will lead you to think and find something that will work?

I only take call 4 nights a month... I no longer work.... I retired from nursing with a mental health disability....I have just put my last child in his senior year of Private Boarding School outside of Boston.....His tution is 45,000.00/ year. I am glad that it is almost over. I have spent my savings well. Now I have to depend on SSDI. Thank you for your suggestions.
