When I act from loving kindness, it's a small victory, a positive point, for the brave the strong and the good in this (often harsh) world.
  When I do the best I can each day and make my decisions from a "wise mind" (even if others think its not "good enough") it's a small victory for me.

THAT is what counts, Hon! We are not put here to meet other's expectations of us, but rather to become the best that each one of us can be! You bet it's a victory for YOU when you act out of loving kindness!! For many, it's way too easy to act out of anger and cruelty, yet they don't stop to think about the reverberations of their acts.
I so do love the way you've been expressing yourself lately! I always knew you had it in you!!
