I got the braces this morning, they were sent through UPS. I was a little shocked at how the feet were pointed so far outward. I was thinking to myself, this will be very painful for her. But when she woke up I put them on her and she seemed okay with them. The think that is supposed to go around the waist goes on her chest though, so we will have to wait forever tommorrow to get them altered. I'm already getting tired of dealing with all this. Last time I went we waited for 2 1/2 hours just for him to tell us he didn't have them, which took about 30 seconds. I was pissed. Before that I waited 2 hours just for him to measure her legs that took about 5 minutes. Then I get them a month after I was supoposed to, and they are to large. I'm getting frustrated with this guy. I fear I will go tomorrow and he will have us wait for two hours again. I don't want to do it, really bad. I feel like saying screw it all.

I understand your frustration. It's hard to wait forever when something just takes a few seconds. You've got to keep in mind that someone ahead of you required extra attention, and that if your daughter was the one who needed it, the other patients would have waited on her. Going to an orthodist is just like going to the Dr. Some patients need more of the Dr's time than others do. I have no idea why are too long, but I am sure he will be able to fix that problem. I beg you to put the braces on your daughter. Please don't let your frustration be her life time of pain. I know you love her dearly and do everything in your power to help her. You are a good mother. Hugs, Jan
