ACK! Another fire!

This one is about 20 miles away and next door to where my youngest son lives. The sky is brown here from all the smoke, I can only imagine what it's like where he lives!

Wind gusts are up to 70 mph and a fire truck got blown over on its side. Incredible!! It wasn't a small truck, either! Some prayers, positive vibes, etc needed for the wind to die down. There's no way this fire can be contained with the wind the way it's blowing! It can only spread and new fires started.

Yikes. Keep us posted.

The only update I have is that the fire has been steadily moving AWAY from where my son lives. It's coming this way but it has a big, rich town to go through before it gets here. Ain't no way THAT is gonna happen! LOL

Last night a few buildings had burned including a huge warehouse. The "aish"fall (ash), as my neighbor calls it, is OOgly... that means it's worse than Ugly. LOL (Gosh, he's cute! ) I've had my two-quart pot full of water with a small flame under it to put some humidity back into the air in the house, but my sinuses are still burning and my arms and legs turned "aishy" during the night. A shower and some baby oil will cure that. Too bad I can't get some Vaseline up my sinuses that far. That would stop the burning.

AAAHHH... the joys of living in So. Cal!

Thanks, Sweety. I'm sure it will work out fine for me if everything remains copasetic. I doubt that the fire will double back to where my son is. It's gone too far from there already. No need to worry anymore.
