G'day I'm from Australia and new to this site.

I'm going to post the most common reactions to stress - if you can relate to a fair few of the reactions listed, there's a good chance you are going through stress right now.
I'm not qualified in any fields - this list was given to me by Country Fire Services Peer Suppurt Officers. (Councilors)

Difficulty Making Decisions
Forgetfulness
Inability to Think Strait
Distressing Dreams
Flash Backs

Emotional
Guilty
Anxiety
Fear
Grief
Shock
Anger Wanting to Die
Feeling Isolated
Feeling Hopeless
Depression

Behavioral
Changes to usual Behavior
Irritability
Crying
Agitation
Withdrawing from others
Increased Substance Intake -
Alcohol,caffeine sugar.
Excessive Humor or Silence
Increased or Decreased Eating

Physical

Upset Stomach
Rapid Heart Rate

There you have it - write down what you can relate to and talk to your G.P for a recommendation

Unfortunately I experience a lot of those on a pretty consistant basis...its like virtually always being under too much stress. I am thinking my PTSD has something to do with it...as that is more or less constant stress.

If I didn't know otherwise I'd think all of that is normal to....I used to think my anxiety and depression issues were just 'normal' and everyone felt like that most of the time.
