i'm sorry i don't know where to put this, but i spent the night in ER tonight with my dad cause he's been having chest pains since Tuesday (Nov 28) and after tests we found out he's had a heart attack (most likely the first pain was the heart attack as it was the worst) however he's now in the cardiac unit on oxygen and being closely monitored because his heart is weak and very damaged, they are trying to stabilize him with meds etc, so i'd like to ask for a prayer or two that my dad will be okay - there's so much i wish for him to live for and see and do still that i'm not ready in any way to say goodbye! (he's only 57)
Thank you all in advance, it means the world to me- i will update as i find out info/details on his condition.

I will pray for your dad and your family.
Don't give up hope. They can do so much now with people who have had heart attacks. I had a heart attack two years ago and had a stent put in and although I have heart disease and congestive heart failure, I lead a pretty good life. Take care, Linda

I just went thru this with my dad 3 months ago. he had to have a triple bypass and did very well with it. he is 77.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Good luck and best wishes.

Thank you all for your prayers and support my dad is home now and doing okay, he needs to be off work for a couple weeks and on meds probably forever but the damage isnt as severe as they initially thought, after more tests they confirmed he is stable enough to be home and go back to work shortly!! Thank you everybody your support means so much to me!
