We are snowbound! We received a couple of inches of ice and 11 inches of snow in my area of Missouri. Now we are stuck at home for a few days.

This isn't good because I have Avon orders to deliver but they will have to wait. I won't drive or walk on slick streets.

My husband, age 62 went out two different time to shovel some snow. He couldn't do a lot because it's hard on him and it's also pretty darned cold.

I hope we don't get cabin fever! Anyone else in the same boat?

nope.....just cold and windy here. no moisture at all. i feel for you. i lived in NM for 10 years and i know how ice and snow mix. it makes it extremely dangerous to try to walk or drive on....and don't forget the black ice after this stuff starts melting.......xoxoxo

Nope, we have six inches but the roads are good, plus it's suppose to warm up.
I hope you won't be stuck at home for too long.
Stay warm,
Linda

In this corner of Kansas we got about 14-15 inches of snow on top of the ice and it is a mess. My front door was drifted shut this morning. I don't like it at all......I hate the isolation. I'm not good company for myself.

You poor people! And here I was complaining the other day about the wind and the cold! It's almost midnight here and 57 degrees. The wind is calm.

I wouldn't mind being snowbound as long as I had everything I needed and a fireplace snappin' and poppin'! Snowbound

Your Avon customers are just gonna have to wait if the want a guarantee of delivery! LOL Don't you dare go out there till it's safe!

Okay Ozzie, I don't mean to sound insensitive to your pain but that's it, I am moving. We don't get snow in New England like we used to. I will be at your door step bag and baggage and bring my snowblower. Seeya soon.

Thanks for all the replies. I managed to deliver my orders on foot yesterday and didn't fall down!!! Today I think we'll be able to get the car out of the driveway. Snowbound I've heard the roads are fine after you get out of this housing area.

The snow on the ground and the ice on the trees was absolutely beautiful but it sure makes it hard to get around. Some trees are badly damaged from the ice too, so that's not good.

I am really looking forward to our outting later today! Snowbound

Freedom to go somewhere is wonderful, expecially after you've been snowed in a few days. Hurray for you!

Hugs,

Jan

Ozzie we got the same storm as you did. On Saturday my dad came over to shovel my walk for me so I didn't slip and fall. Darn that landlord and I thought he was going to be a good one.LOL
Hope yours is almost gone like mine is.
