Since I was young I have daydreamed. It is pretty obsessive (I literally repeat things and do it all the time, when I am working, when I am watching tv, when I am trying to sleep, when I listen to music). I have read online that some people call it maladaptive daydreaming. Does anyone else have this/do this?

I literally have a fantasy life in my head and like it better than my real life.

Sure... maladaptive I don't know. I love what goes on inside my head. I slip into that mind or similar whenever I have the chance. I think for me I do it for many different reasons. Some of them I feel are very valid, who cares what goes on inside my head anyway?

I do this too. I make up my dream life, job, house etc. I think it just makes me feel worse about reality though .
