7 years ago I was diagnosed with depression.. I've been on and off medication for ever nothing seems to work properly or I just stop taking them (I know that's not good, but I had an over dose incident last year.)
But, lately I've been trying to watch my emotions and I've notice that I can be very depressed at times, then smiling and hyper the next. Like for example, I was just laying in bed, I got upset started to cry then a few mins after I got up and was laughing an hyper chasing my son around. Now this is a daily thing. I'm very depressed and stressed out, then I can be fine two mins later , then go back go being depressed. Like what the hell is going on ?!?! I am going to make an appointment with my family doctor tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me what could be wrong with me ....
Thanks

Also forgot to mention in the past two months I have lost over 30 pounds from stress.

I'm no doctor but sounds like a mood disorder, family doctor might refer you to a psychiatrist.

Yeah, it could be that you have a mood disorder. Would you want to see a p-doc?

The sooner you get on the list the better. If it is a mood disorder it could get worse over time. I am bipolar, mines started out with me having these wonderful almost orgasmic feelings out of the blue. Then over a year or 2 I started getting depression and it got bad. But again only a doctor can diagnose, make sure your family doctor rules out anything physical.

I wasn't put on a long list. I've always gotten appointments quickly.
