What a great day for women in the USA. "We" have voted in our very first WOMAN speaker of the house, with the democrats with majorities in both the House and the Senate. Nancy Pelosi, congratulations. Another glass ceiling has broken. I wish her well.

I never liked the phrase "glass ceiling". It always makes me think that the guys who worked for me could look up my skirt!!

Ok... regardless of what we think of THEIR politics, that it's the 21st century and this is the FIRST woman speaker of the house, well that says SOMETHING doesn't it???
 Wouldn't we have needed this before we ever vote in a woman for President (not that that needs to happen...) just a great day forward, imo.
