I just checked chat and it's fine now. It reboots itself every night around midnight ET, so if there are any problems, they should be fixed by then... (if anyone's still awake at midnight!).

I've really missed being able to chat with you. Sure hope the problems get cleared up too - there seem to be a bunch who can't get in, who I would like to be able to chat with. I only had a problem getting into chat once recently and it worked when I tried over again.

DE, I can't get into chat anymore either........something about Microsoft Java Virtual Machine, and it won't download either. I've gone to Microsoft's website and tried a zillion things with no luck.

Would you ask Doc John what I can do to fix it? I miss chat.

Hi Everyone,

AAAAHHHH!! I'm a bit frustrated. I couldn't get into chat so i thought that I didn't have Java enabled. Took me forever to find Java and I think I enabled the two I could find. I checked off the boxs that said "Java console enabled" and "Java logging enabled". Well, it still didn't let me in to the chat room!! I'm not sure if I enabled the right things. I only had two Java's to choose from so if they weren't the right ones then I don't know where to find the Java I'm supposed to enable. LOL Can anyone help me?

Wendy, just above the two things you checked should be something that says "Use Java..." with a version number. Make sure that is checked. If it is, you may need to re-load java. Here's the link for the download:

This fixed the problem for most people.
