Yeah I started by emailing too. It's not an immediate response but I don't remember having to wait for too long.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm so sorry this has all been so difficult for you. I'm from the UK and I agree with our friend who said A&E is not the way forward (in the UK), bit it may be the route elsewhere. I've had to rely on phoning crises lines in my area many many times. Mostly they have always picked up, they've talked, they've helped in some ways. But there is a lack of communication between crises team and my psych Dr, or any other members of my mental heath team. The crises line never lets my other mental health team know I've contacted, so as far as everyone is concerned I fine!! I really hope you end up getting the help you need in a serious crises, we just have to keep on asking and ''demanding'' in a reasonable way. HUGS. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I did not realize this was such a common problem. In the past when I have contacted the after hours # a dispatcher answers, decides if it is really a crisis, gets my ph. #. Then a "clinician" (whatever that is) will call back. Their tone of voice expresses disinterest. I have found out that it is just better to take my meds and go to bed for as long as I need to.
