Not to hurt your feelings or nothing, but my mommie told me that there was no easter bunny it is really just her. Is this true? My husband says I am going to get an easter basket this year, since my mommie told him last year that I threw a fit for not getting one and that I did not believe in the easter bunny no more and she said that is fine there is no easter bunny *puzzled look on face* I am not sure what to believe. Can you help me?

Um... yeah... There's this old lady that lives with me. When her kids heard from somewhere that there wasn't a Santa Clause, this old woman told her kids that if they believed in Santa, then there was a Santa. If they didn't believe in him, then he wouldn't come see them anymore.

The Easter Bunny only comes to see you if you believe in him. He may not bring you a basket when you get older 'cause he saves the goodies for the little bitty kids, but you can see proof that he is real when you see little kids with their baskets. At least, that's what I believe. Ssshhhhhh.....

Oh, and Dexter says that the Easter Bunny has many helpers... just like Santa Clause. Ssshhhhhh.....

mmm, I did not ever think about that. I believed in the easter bunny until last year when I did not get an easter basket and I threw a fit and told mom that I did not believe in him anymore and she said that's fine. So, is Dexter saying that our mommie's are like the easter bunny's helpers? I am just trying to understand all of this. See I am a very small confused kitten and I am not sure what to believe. I want to believe in the easter bunny, but not sure if I should. I don't know what to do.

Yeah, mommies can be Easter Bunny helpers, just like Santa Clause helpers. Has your mommie let you color some eggs? It's fun and you can make a mess! That's even more fun! Why should the Bunny have all the fun? Ssshhhhhh.....

'Sup to you what you want to believe, though. Ssshhhhhh.....

Yes, my mommie has let me color some easter eggs, I may do it this year, just so I can eat them, yummy. I believe what you say, why should the bunny have all the fun. It's almost like the Trix commercials, Trix the bunny never gets his own cereal, but all the other cartoon cereal characters get their's, it isn't fair, why should they have all the good stuff and Trix not get any at all?

"Hey! There goes the easter bunny!" Ssshhhhhh.....

Ssshhhhhh..... Really! Why should the Easter bunny have all the fun?! Just like the Trix rabbit! He deserves some cereal, too! Ssshhhhhh.....

I didn't know the Trix rabbit until I had kids of my own, but... you and I share some basic things in regards to our childhood. My "illness" was to have a very old mother, grandmother and no father around. They claimed to love me so much that they wanted to keep me under glass on the mantel piece. Ssshhhhhh..... Ssshhhhhh..... I was too heavy for the mantel, but I was sure kept inside, sometimes in the basement. Ssshhhhhh..... Ssshhhhhh..... Same effect.
