**Please feel free to move if necessary**

Hello

I'm not in the habit of making threads but i'd like for any UK users on this forum to know about a social group i've started. I hope that it will be a place to find all sorts of support and guidance on navigating UK MH services. Please be aware that as this is a moderated group it may take a short while for me to approve users who wish to join, but i'll endeavor to do so asap. I hope to see many of you there

EDIT: The more users we have means the quicker we can create a forum for those who wish to post and have responses to individual topics.

Thanks ~ ifst5.
Thanks for this!

Thanks shattered sanity. I'd encourage anyone interested to give us a go, it's the kind of group that's as useful as you want it to be ~ if.

Thank you. This is a great idea, especially as getting support from anywhere other than a GP has been really hard for me.

Hi ifst5, the group is a great idea. I followed the link but got a message saying I didn't have any permissions. Could you approve me as a user please?

Hi Miracle_I'm_Here - Welcome to PC! I believe the reason why you're not able to try and join is because you don't currently have a high enough post count. I think the number of posts needed to get on chat is 10 so I'm assuming the same is true for joining social groups. I'd like to refer you to an admin like Sabby who will be able to clarify this for you. Send them a quick message regarding the guidelines and in the meantime I would just keep posting replies (the games board is good for this) and periodically trying to join. Sometimes new member posts can take longer to be approved so if you've posted 10 or more times give it at least another 24 hours before enquiring if there's an issue - this is an American site so obviously time delays have to be factored in. I would love to have you in the group and await seeing you there

**EDIT** Strangely enough the system has had no problem allowing me to send you an invite so hopefully you're able to accept and join now!

Thanks i5. I'll keep posting as you suggest. I must also change or remove my signature. I joined a motorcycle forum before this one. Although as motorcycling helps me keep depression at bay, perhaps I should leave it! I hope you get lots of interest from others and hope to see you soon in the group.

I say leave it as it is! Signatures are all about who we are and I'm glad motorcycling helps you, it's good to have interests we feel genuinely passionate about. I hope you find what you're looking for here

There's plenty more to come! A proper forum will facilitate more discussion but as it stands I encourage members to sound off on what's important to them; questions, links, stories, jokes, event dates, you name it

I'm living in UK, born in Wales, lived in England since 3.

Be good to have a busy UK forum for events and stuff so hope it's popular.

And your avatar is a quote from the best English film ever made!
