My father in Law who has been on a steady decline fell thurs and broke his pelvis in three places. It is a painful injury and will take a while to rehab. I need to feel that he will try hard and rehab well to regain normal functioning.

Oh WW,
I am so sorry to hear about your FIL. It is sad when our parents and in-laws start to age and become less steady on their feet.
When my Mother was alive, she fell and broke her neck but she came out of the whole rehab and was a functioning being once again.
There is hope. Just keep encouraging him and he will do fine.
Good luck to your FIL and the family,
Linda

I hope he has some constant support for the next year or so... and since he was in decline already, he will surely need it! Healing doesn't come easily, and sometimes elderly die during the year after such a traumatic injury. Keep giving the positive vibes to him ww. father in law fell

Thanks Sky, he needs all of the love we can send him. We will be there as much as they allow. I really want his ocd and depression treated. Diabetes and heart disease and now this.
