My neice is here!!! She was born yesterday morning at 7:56 am.. she weighed 7 lbs 11 oz 20 1/2 inches long!!!! My sister in law is doing wonderful!!! My brother is head over heals in love with that little girl!!! I will put up some pictures just as soon as i down load some!!!!

Thanks guys... this is an end to a long road. My sister in law had lost two before carrying this one full term.. so for her to be here and to be healthy is a big blessing!!!!!!

thanks!!!!!! it has a rollercoaster for the past two days... i am sooo tired.... i feel like i am the one who had a baby... i had four kids for most of the day yesterday... lol

Just talked to my SIL and my SIL is running a low grade fever.. they are trying to get her up and walking but she is in alot of pain. Her temp is 100.2 and they told her that they would have to put the IV back in if the fever wotn come down. I hope that nothign serious is going on with her

well just got off the phone with my SIL and when I get off I will go pick all four of them up at the hospital and bring them home!!! Their car is broke down and they have been relying on my to tote them around for the past few days! But at least they will all be home now!

Now that your sis-in-law and baby are home... just wanted to say that looking back on my life, there was absolutley NO SWEETER TIME than when I brought my babies home from the hospital!
I don't even have to close my eyes to see the various bedrooms with one corner turned into a nursery, lights dimmed, everything smelling like baby powder or baby lotion... the hushed tone of wonderment at the new life, thinking that the little movements my babies made were perhaps dreams of Heaven, still. Then feeding time... the incredible bond between mother and child as I nursed each of my babies. The world ceased to exist... there was nothing else in Heaven or Earth but that baby of mine... and me... Then when John came along, it was Mommy, Daddy and Johnny... little, tiny, pink Johnny... Karla was blue the first time I saw her, but later in the nursery, I didn't recognize her as mine... but she was certainly the most beautiful baby in that nursery! That should have told me something, right? Well, at least I know I wasn't looking through my mother's eyes. She's STILL gorgeous! When David came home, everything was blue, of course. I thought one time that even HE was blue! My mom and I both panicked until I took him out of his bassinette away from the blue blankets. LOL Just a reflection... Mom and I may have panicked, but everything was still in hushed tones... I can only translate that as AWE... Hmmmm/sigh... I'd do it all over again... and then some! Prayers for blessing for baby and mother....

Congratulations. I kept watching your timeline there for awhile waiting for the blessed event and then darnit I missed it till now. What a lucky little girl to have you for an aunt.
