I know no one can give an official diagnosis or anything like that but what does this sound like to you? As a teenager, I started becoming very rebellious after losing my first job that I had for two years. I didn't sleep much and watched porn incessantly and drank my parents wine, sometimes staying up until 4 or 5 o clock in the morning watching porn and drinking. I even went to a porno theater alone one time looking for a hooker, but couldn't bring myself to actually sleep with a hooker. Especially during this time, I got very belligerent and my parents were worried about my "mental health". I would sometimes flip out for no good reason. I could get interrupted and I would just flip out, cursing, yelling, and acting completely crazy. After a while, I mellowed out a bit but was still going berserk a good bit for about a year. Then, after going to school, After entering another program that was rather stressful for me, I went berserk again. I began telling my parents that they were no good and ultimately it became something I had little to no control over. It was as if I was no longer in control of myself and I ultimately came to think I got possessed by demons or something. The things I was angry about never really even happened in any way like what I was saying. Also, I came up with some rather grandiose ideas, likening myself to Einstein and even saying that I came up with a scientific theory that could change the world. I did terribly at work and ended up getting shitcanned Part of it probably had to do with the disheveled appearance I often had during this time period. After this, I got myself together, for now at least, and my family is starting to realize that I do have issues with this sort of thing and that they'll be supportive of me with it. I don't really think I'm crazy though just a bit erratic at times.

Have you read much about bipolar disorder? It sounds like something worth looking into... especially because of the grandiose beliefs and the over indulgance in risky behaviour.

(There's different forms of bipolar btw. I have bipolar 2).

It's a good thing that your family will be supportive. We are not allowed to diagnose from this site. Please go to the doctor and get the ball rolling to find out for real and get the help for the correct situation.

Have you addressed your usage of alcohol? Chemical dependency can often affect a persons behavior. You need to be sober to address any other issues you may or may not have.

Huh? I never said anything alcoholism related in this post. I drank but I've never had any sort of serious drinking problem. I mean I probably drink a bit more than I should but I'm not an alcoholic by any means. I don't drink everyday or anything like that

just a bit of info....with some people even just the slightest amount of alcohol can bring on many symptoms that may look like a mental disorder which is why in the USA Alcohol consumption no matter how small or large is addressed/ruled in/ruled out as the problem...its such a common problem (alcohol causing mental disorder like symptoms) that with the new diagnostic criteria there is now a diagnostic criteria with in many mental disorder problems stating Alcohol and drug use must be ruled out before treatment providers can place a diagnosis on someone...in the USA its no longer whether a person is an alcoholic or not, its just part of the diagnostic process for figuring out what the problems are called and what is causing that problem.

the only way to know whether the amount of alcohol you consume is what is causing the problems is to contact your own treatment providers..

we cant tell you definitively what this disorder (taking any or all of what you posted into consideration) is. all we can do is tell you what we can find on the internet if we googled the problems you posted about...which of course there are millions upon millions of things this can be...

we can also tell you whether we have had the same things happen to us...some of what you posted has happened to me and my own treatment providers called it by many different things...including physical health problems, mental problems, alcohol problems, drug interaction problems, medicinal problems, and even normal problems like sleep deprivation, poor diet, and others....

my suggestion if you really want to know what this is with in you, contact your treatment providers. they will be able to help you figure this out.
