Well ... after a very busy full on week at work and blah mood of late I decided to go shopping this morning ...

For me there is totally some truth in the 'therapy' part of Retail Therapy -

My little haul (it could have been much much more but I couldn't quite find other stuff i liked enough - prolly a good thing ... hehe)

* Cute black cropped cardigan for work - been searching for the perfect one for ages now, to wear over favourite (but not work appropriate) dresses. Now they can be worn to work!

* Shoes - ballet flats with a little suede tipped toe. Cute and functional.

* 1x new eye pencil. A lovely smudgey charcoal Lancome one.

* Lime hollandaise. Amazing - for fish I shall cook on the bbq for us tonight.

Shopping rocks :>

yeah, shopping rocks when you find stuff you want :-)
especially with respect to clothes shopping where you fairly much have what you want in mind and then... you find it! woo hoo!

Yes it's amazing - I have some designers I love but often i just find stuff that's nice but - it's not right (cut, it has something on it that looks gross even though the basic garment is lovely - hehe)

but a very good feeling to successfully shop. YAY!

How cool. Yes, I am the same way. It seems that shopping always picks up ones spirit.
Even if it isn't much, it's the hunt. The hunt for something you have in mind and think you may never find but right around the corner, there it is, right in front of you.
Good for you and good post!
Hugs,
Boopers

yes ... maybe it's the distraction ...?

as you say it does 'pick one up' for a little bit.

I agree alex k. I used to spend hours and $100s in Barnes and Noble-but lately with agoraphobia I'm an Amazon.com addict!
