I prefer if it comes from you or people you know but if a famous one comes your that knocks you off your feet, share too. I've been anxious and depressed for many years (meds: tried them all!) and last few years also PTSD, and so from time to time I have insights that may be meaningless to some but hopefully may be of some use to some people and I thought maybe good if we all share.

Here are two of mine:

Life is about being open to the possibility of impossible, both good and bad.

Living requires faith in something outside life, something solid and unchangeable, and if you can not find such a source for faith, then sun and moon will do too.

I would have guessed this to actually be higher, the world is full of ignorant, afraid of change people.

My parents had a greeting card saying on their checkbook when I was growing up:

It is better to be rich and healthy than to be poor and sick.

This is my own: Try to live each day as if it were your last, because someday...it will be.

Say it now and do it now, because the next second isn't promised to us.

"Living is hard, dying is mean....get all the love you can....in between."

I am here, now what are your other 2 wishes?
So, enough about ME, what do YOU think about ME?

Well I came up with this one:

The only guarantee in life is someday everyone dies.

Don't know that it is very inspirational, perhaps insightful though.

It's been said that all of us get two miracles in our lifetime so we must be patient.

Waaaay back in my high school days I took an "Office Automation" class, where we learned how to use all sorts of office machines, like memeographs, 10-column adding machines, etc. Of course we also learned how to type...on real typewriters. Mechanical ones, not even electric. A room full of these things made quite a clatter!

Our teacher had us type a particular phrase, over and over again, hundreds of times. None of this "Quick brown fox..." stuff. She had us type:

"Know what you like to do, then do it as well as you can."

I probably typed it 10,000 times, but it wasn't until many years later that I realized she was giving us more than a typing exercise.

Do not live your life by other people's book of "shoulds".

22? Really? I'm still trying to process that one, Sister.
