It's been quite the whirlwind-
It's been four months since I have had any significant amount of depression, no mania, and until last week , no anxiety. It's been about three weeks since they told me I am not bipolar-have never been bipolar-but I do have Complex PTSD. Freaking lovely. So I'm working all that out, trying to process it, doing scads of research and came to a decision. If my life was going to change so radically, and it has, then I would take this opportunity to make other changes. I have not had a cigarette in 24 days. I have adopted a way of eating called the Raw Food eating plan, where at least 75% of the food you eat is raw. And without the tobacco and processed food, very high protein and only natural sugar, everything tastes so good! Salads are heavenly. Fruit is luscious. And eating has become a sensual feast. Sponge Bob and I had dinnner together last week. Don't be jealous, bluekoi-I'm not turning him in for the bounty! Lots of juice and water and protein shakes. Lightly steamed veggies. And vitamens! Every day. The reason I wrote this is to let you know how incredibly good I feel. My hands don't shake-I'm sleeping well, and I've put all the ammunition away. I think we tend not to take care of ourselves when the dark days have us. Maybe the better I feel, the less dark days there will be. And glok-it's your turn to keep those demon posessed swine from flinging them selves into the sea again. We lost seven of the beasts last week. But it's Scarlett's turn next week and you can join us if you like. Just remember your RSVP. Or is that PTSD? I get them confused. La-di-da. ![]()
