Please can you send warm thoughts this way please...

Hi all

i am asking for your help. my nan is ill again...she has been ill a lot over the last few months but this time its worse than before. she has a chest infection but she cant get out of bed, cant eat or drink without vommiting, and has severe headaches. the doctor was called out tonight and advised us to keep an eye on her at all times and if she gets any worse, even slightly, then we have to call for an ambulance to get her taken to hospital. the whole family are worried, as i am. we have all said that she looks worse than we have ever seen her, and at the age of 85 it puts extra strain on her.

so if you could, please can you pray and send warm wishes of health this way please, i would be very grateful.

the latest on my nan...when i made the original post it was about 10:30pm last night. i spoke to my aunt this morning - my aunt is staying with my nan to help her - and my aunt said my nan had a steady night, was sick only a couple of times. the doctor has been out this morning and my nan is borderline hospital still. they are arranging for a "Safe Haven" and home care for my nan as she has no energy to do anything. she hasnt eaten for a few days now as she cannot keep it down, so this is meaning she has zero energy. exhaustion.

again, thank you all for your support, i cannot thank you enough.

Thank you to all of you who have sent warm wishes and prayers this way.

the current update is that my nan was taken to hospital yesterday. she was getting worse yesterday and couldnt breath properly. the oxygen isnt able to get into the bloodstream and the carbon dioxide is unable to get out, which is causing her severe headaches and if it gets worse it can lead to suffocation, or even a stroke. she is on oxygen now in hospital so this should be where she begins getting better. she is now in the best place to be.

i am off to see her in about an hour.
