I am alone tonight. And lonely.

I hardly post any more and all I want to do right now is post. Problem is, I am getting nowhere quite fast on this site!

I have browsed and surfed and utilized many other sites today with absolutely no trouble. But when I come here it all changes.

Doesn't this site like me anymore?

PS - I have posted about this on the Technical Forum and have followed all the required cleaning procedures etc.

I am just posting this now because I am so extremely frustrated.

If I don't respond, it is because I couldn't.

Have you gone into your Edit Display Preferences and turned off siggys and avatars? That might be what's slowing you down, it's taking too long to load all the pics.

This was my 4th try but I finally got back into this thread.

I haven't turned the siggies and avatars off because I have never had a problem with them before. Never. My issue with this site has been over the last month.

And I enjoy seeing the graphics.

Oh, I'm sulking now!

Hmmmm. I don't know what might be causing your difficulties. And its only this site? Maybe you could PM Kimmydawn or DocJohn about it, and see if they have any suggestions?

Thanks Raynaadi - Doc John addressed the issue in my post on the Technical Forum but the hassles have not really gone away!

Katheryn - thank you so much for your kind thoughts.

Petunia - LOL - deal! I un-checked all the options with regards to seeing siggies, avatars and pictures - I am still seeing pictures in this thread though ..... scratching head!

I'm alone until Saturday - maybe tomorrow will be better. I'm in a chatty mood and I don't want to lose that as posting hasn't been easy for me lately.

Well, I am so frustrated - I didn't get to visit most of the forums I wanted to ............but I did get to post a few new threads here and there. It took a while though!

Right now, I can't struggle with this - I'm going to bed. (It is almost midnight more me).

I do hope tomorrow is better and since removing siggy's and avatars made no difference, I think I will restore them.

After all, I get to see Petunia blinking at me!!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
