I have bit the inside of my lips for as long as I can remember I don't even know I'm doing it most of the time its like a compulsion. I have tried to stop but can't seem to does anyone have the same thing? If so any ideas on how to stop?

I do it too, if you're aware of it you can stop, just conciously stop it when you catch your self doing it as hard as it may be.

On the plus side I've had girls tell me it looks sexy when I bite my lip haha

Yep, I used to bite one spot on my lip so much I developed a place that was like a callus.

I would not recommend the way I quit. I had major dental work done a couple of years ago. I had no teeth on the side I used to bit for almost six months. No teeth meant I couldn't bite my lip. I guess I got out of the habit because I didn't start up again after I got my implants.

Seems I've done this forever too, usually inside left cheek. It gets a callous. When things get really bad I'll bite the external lip Until it bleeds and then peel skin when scab dries. Real classy. Sometimes trying another oral substitution helps, like chewing gum or sucking hard candies. Also can try pressing tongue to palette or pinching lips together. In meetings I play with watch strap and try not to peel finger skin. Sigh.

Well Mattbemis good for you on the girls. I actually hate kissing on account of cuts in my mouth very self conscious about it. I have tried gum but I feel like I chew too hard usually my jaw starts to hurt. I don't know I'm doing it most of the time and I think I might do it in my sleep as well.
