Hey guys,
Need some help with an issue not sure what to do... lately I've been having visual hallucinations more and more. It's been going on for a few months. It originally was just shadows that would spook me. But now they turning into things I think are real so I do a double take and realize whatever it was isn't real as it dissappears... If you know me I've had problems with depression and mood swings. On this particular issue I've had hallucinations before (2 years ago) but I was taking add meds. Currently I am on nothing. I've also had 3 different paranoid delusions lasting a few weeks but 2 were on medicine 1 was not... As of late I haven't had extreme mood swings just lots of anger and varying depression for about 6 months. It's just becoming bothersome at work

So i am not really sure what to think....

I see a doctor later this month and am unsure what to tell her. I put no hallucinations on the paperwork but Also wonder if I should change it. Input Is welcomed

Mike Delta, You said you were on meds a couple years ago and nothing now. Getting on meds is something many people report improvement in preventing hallucinations.

Would change the paperwork to reflect the truth.

If the meds don't help after adequate ramp up talk to the pdoc and have them adjust or change. Having a professional is a safer bet than going it alone.

Yea I also used to be on an antipsychotic. .. I don't know why but I am just fearful to say anything to a doctor. I'm worried they won't believe me

Mike, if your doc doesn't believe you after investigating further, perhaps it is time to get a doc that will believe you. Just a thought.
