The thoughts in my head, repetitive horrible things, are starting to sound more and more like outside voices, separate entities. I know it's illogical, and nonsensical. I have this fear I am actually making all of this up so I get attention, that I am subconsciously doing it and I could really stop if I wanted to. Yet still the only thing that stops these thoughts is repetitive words, or songs.

Are you seeing a doctor and/or therapist? Sounds like really bad OCD and possibly sleep deprivation I'm not a doctor and as far as I know neither is anyone else here. Are you having trouble sleeping? Do you take any OTC meds on a routine basis?
Thanks for this!

I would seek professional help if any thing. It can be anything actually. A proper diagnosis will mean treatment which will mean hopefully relief. Good luck!
Thanks for this!

Have you ever invited spirit guides in, like some shaman traditions suggest? I did that once, and the voices became unbearable.

Im not seeing anybody currently, but I hope to be seeing someone by the end of this year. For the OCD thing, I do have obsessive thoughts that I stop with compulsions, but I read somewhere that if the compulsion is viewed as rational by the person it's not OCD. For example: I have constant joint pain. When walking I alternate what leg im using to step over cracks so that the pain is evenly distributed between the two. Now that sounds completely rational in my head, I don't know though.

I practice divination tools so, no I haven't invited any spirits into my life, but an interesting thing to look out for. Thanks for the responses.

You're aware, on some level, that you are engaging in the OC behavior. I know we're not supposed to diagnose here, but I'm very familiar with OCD behavior and you sure sound like that's what you are describing.

You know how they say, we all have little demons in our minds but this is maybe a bit too much. So, try to talk with some professional just to see what is going on. That could become worse.
