I am learning to write a blog and I had no idea they were so unbelievably hard. It is like 2 upper division college courses. Why do they have to make they so hard? You need your own software, you have to wrote computer language -- html etc. I am outraged at the scope of the difficulty.

It sounds like you're doing the coding for a blog. You're right, that's tough. However, there are a number of sites that offer free blogs. All you do is sign up, write, and post.

Piece of cake!

Yeah, you don't have to deal with code if you don't want to. I do prefer to host my own blog, but if you want a free one hosted elsewhere, here's some links:

http://www.blogger.com/
http://www.blurty.com/
http://www.livejournal.com/
http://www.wordpress.com/

And there are plenty more, just Google.

You can also get your blog listed at blog search sites, like these (again, Google for more):

http://www.blogcatalog.com/
http://blogsearch.google.com/
http://www.sphere.com/
http://www.technorati.com/
