I have many wishes....but I'll be selfish here for a minute and say that I wish my husband would get his visa this year and come home to me. I miss him so very much

I suppose I can't regret anything now...in my mid life...it all has purpose somewhere. But if I could or would....I wish I had a daughter to spoil through life. Too late now...but I even had a name picked out...once. Oh well, wishes; Guilty pleasures that never quite happen. Hmmm...whatever.

Wow, January...what a great post!!
It was so touching reading everyones wishes...makes me feel i know each person that little more now. My wish would be one that i wish for everyday of my life. And thats to be able to sing really well, and for me to accept it and know it...i know thats more than one, but it all ties in. I feel i could really help people through music, but i just have such negative thoughts about myself. If i could believe in myself, that would be great. I sometimes wish i could be loved, but i would want the chance to live my dream and help people via music and other means...so to be loved would be my second wish, but as we only have one, it can wait!  So when are you going to grant it then Jan? hehe  I wouldnt wish for anything else, as everything in my life (good AND bad) has happened for a reason, and it is who i am today, and it will dictate my life in the future...so all i want is that gift of a good voice...to sing to the world, and be heard. I wish for an end to my chldren's suffering. (A cure for my oldest son's schizophrenia and a guarantee of no recurrance of my youngest son's brain avm.)

Oh, this is a wonderful thread!! A tough one to post to, but incredibly inspiring. You guys are truly beautiful individuals, and it shows.
My wish... goodness, there are so many! But right now my wish is that my friends (including my parents, they're friends too!) would be able to surmount the obstacles in their lives and achieve what would make them happiest. There are a few specific people in mind for this, but I felt I had to include everybody--otherwise it'd be kind of a selfish wish, you know?
