The purpose of this thread? THE GOOD STUFF. No negativity here whatsoever.

The way it works: I challenge ALL of you to come up with at least ONE THING that happened to you TODAY, ONE good thought that you had, ONE productive moment AT LEAST... and list it here, NO MATTER HOW HARD IT IS, 'cause sometimes, as wel all know, it can be REALLY hard to pick out even one tiny thing that's good in our lives. If you had an excellent day in general, post a ton of good stuff. If your day totally sucked, if you feel like your whole LIFE sucks, try to work up your courage and post just one little something that is really, sincerely, truly GOOD in your life, insignificant as it may seem.

It can be big and profound, small and silly, or somewhere in between. The important thing to remember is that in every life, THERE IS GOOD STUFF!!

all the love,
~muse

My 8˝ yo son got in bed with me this morning at 5am because he had a bad dream. I hate he had a bad dream but it made me happy that my big boy still needs his mommy. That's good stuff.

i recently rescued a little domestic mouse who was for some reason running around outside my building and when i fed her this morning she kissed my finger. it felt good to be able to give another living thing a second chance at life, even if its "just" a mouse.

Hubby and I had appts this morning with the dentist. He didn't accept our insurance, but hubby and I were having a lot of fun riding around in his wounded Mazda with the top down. He was in a great mood for a change!!! He's got hilarious comebacks for almost everything when he's in a good mood! The Good Stuff The Good Stuff

The cable guy was supposed to have come this afternoon to install the digital box but he came early before we left for our appt. He sure was a cutie but had some extra piercings. Looked good on him! LOL

Now we have 37 more TV channels to watch! The Good Stuff The Good Stuff

My Grandma's been having a lot of pain in her shoulder. I took her to an emergency appointment with her doctor and he diagnosed a "trigger point" in her shoulder, which I've had before and know how to work out. When we got back to her house, I rubbed it out some and helped her feel better. That put me in a good mood. The Good Stuff

Several of my clients showed signs of appreciating me, which feels pretty good. I went for a walk with one of them this morning to look at the flowers that are growing around her neighborhood (and talk about appropriate behavior in the community). She is doing so well that I can't get any more time approved to keep working with her. The Good Stuff But I work with two of her neighbors, so I'll still see her around.

There were a few others who asked me for help with minor problems, and one who asked to talk to me in my office because he wanted to ask me to visit him more often at work and at home (he usually yells at most of the staff, so that's pretty good), and he also brought his parents by my office to say thanks too when they picked him up.

I've been busy all day, and that tends to be good for me because I like to feel productive and useful.

And I get to see T tomorrow.

The Good Stuff

Guys, this is so wonderful. All of your replies are so uplifting!! The Good Stuff

For me... I'm feeling a lot better, like I might actually be able to get some work done (let's hope I didn't just jynx it! *knocks on wood*) without drowning in anxiety, and I get to see my boyfriend's play tomorrow!! It'll be the first time I've seen him in almost a month, so I'm absolutely extatic!

I downloaded the most adorable little sheep you ever saw and they are walking around my screen, bumping into each other, crawling up the window and falling off, eating flowers, lol. One is trying to climb down right now...oops. He just fell off. The Good Stuff

They are too funny. They brightened up my whole day.

Our construction is finished (after more than a year), the landscapers come early next week (and I get a veggie garden to putter in), my courses will be finished the week after that (and I'll be "free") and I feel better than I did earlier this week.

I didn't stall at all on my driving lesson this morning! The Good Stuff And I got most of the way through the form I have to fill out to apply for student loans. For the first time in ages, I have so little homework that I managed to spend some time playing the keyboard today. The Good Stuff
