The mental health workers told me that they worked for the FBI. I had reported them to the police for using abusive hypnosis techniques on me. Then I think the reason that they told me to send stuff to the FBI is because they wanted to make me appear crazy. They did this in an attempt to prevent themselves from getting arrested. What should I do? I really do not want the police thinking that I am crazy.

may I ask why you are in the state hospital ? this may tell you why you are hearing hearing hospital wokers tell you something so strange as to contact the FBI...

example when I am having psychotic symptoms due to my mental disorders or medications sometimes I hear or see things that actually are not real. one time I was inpatient and I thought I heard hospital staff tell me to contact the FBI and tell them that a kidnapper was holding everyone hostage and that the kidnapper was an alien from another galaxy. obviously the staff did not really tell me to do this. it was just my medications causing me to have delusions (thoughts that could not possibly be real) auditory hallucinations (hearing the staff tell me to do things that could not possibly be real) so to figure out why the staff were telling me to do this I tested my reality... I asked myself why was i inpatient.. the answer because my medications were causing me to be delusional and have hallucinations. ok so there was the possibility that my hearing the staff tell me to call the FBI was just one of my mental problems at the moment. I located a staff that I felt I could trust and told them what I heard. that staff verified that yes being told to contact the FBI,CIA and other government agencies is a popular delusion/hallucination many people have and that there was no hostage or alien incursion happening. they made some medication changes and I was soon back on track with no longer believing in this audio hallucination\delusional thoughts.

my suggestion try to test your reality. the first step is ask yourself why you are inpatient. no one is placed on inpatient in a mental hospital unless they meet certain criteria here in the USA... that criteria is that they are a danger to their self and others due to mental disorder or medication problems, a person who has to be put inpatient usually has severe problems with things like self injury, harming others, suicidal, and may also have hallucinations and delusions.

another suggestion let a staff person that you most trust know what you are hearing the hospital staff tell you. they will be able to most likely confirm what is real and what isnt at the moment for you.
Thanks for this!
