Thank you Angie.

I just got back from the ER. I've not been feeling well for some time. I couldn't swallow and my throat was swollen up sort of like mumps. My legs hurt so much that I bruised them rubbing them.

I have mono and strep throat! I also was very dehydrated and had to have ringers. I have no idea where I got mono. There wasn't any kissing happening to this girl. For Janurary

Hugs,

Jan

January,

What a combo!! Strepthroat and mono!!!

Are you one of those people who doesn't do anything small -- LOL?

No really -- I'm sorry you're so sick. I wish I lived closer so I could run by with some juice and ginger ale.

What are ringers?

Hugs,

EJ

Dear Jan,
Ohmigosh! What a combination -- I'm glad you went to the ED to get some care. Now, you'll need LOTSA rest!

Take good care. Don't push yourself. So like you to be humorous even tho you're so sick!

I care very much about you, so please get well in a hurry!
Okie

(((((((((( My Dear Friends )))))))))))

Thank you for all your wonderful replies. You made me laugh and you made me cry and it was all good.

It seems I do things in spades. I just kept thinking, "I'll get better. I'll get better."

You know when these things happen it makes me appreciate the good days I have. I used to be sick every single day. Now I have good days and it's awesome!

I did some reading and it seems "mono" is also the Epstein Barr Virus or a variant of it. Once you've had mono and your system gets really run down, you can get it again! For Janurary I caught mono years ago when I drank out of the students' water fountain instead of the teachers' For Janurary water fountain. Yep, no adventure here!

I was allergic to the pain medicine. It was an IV push and it started with a "z" but I can't remember the name. Boy, did that get interesting for a while.

Thank you each and every one for your wonderful replies and for caring. It means so very much to me, much more than I can ever express.

Love and hugs to everyone,

Jan
