Dear everyone here,hello,I'm Kay from Croatia.Thank you for the opportunity of coming back etc.How to put this?I'm a relatively young woman,I have huge mental (psyche) problems,BUT, they are occuring because of my horrible family/social/living and financial situation.Last time I was here I had a serious boyfriend,whoom I was suppose to marry,and that was a supporting situation that kept me going.Now,however,he and his family blew me off,like I never existed,and now I'm back in a small flat with my bipolar mother.
I lost each and every one of my friends after the break up,and when I tried to find help (a job,an advisor,anything),instead of helping or at least making an effort,the local community (including my relatives,who do not speak to me at all) again started saying that I beat others and am very agressive.And the truth is,I got beaten and left hungry for days.Now,I almost lay in bed all day,and from the stress I I'm loosing my hair and sight.This is 2 long,but just a piece of the story.So,if anyone can do something,help in any way,please do.Love to all.

Kayolla, I am so sorry you are struggling with depression and trauma. It sounds like you have some major challenges so a therapist and psych doc would be a good addition to the team.

Since I joined PC I have been able to share more and developed more trust. Besides being an active participant in helping oneself at Psych Cental, many people also help support each other by replying to other people's posts. Many people who are actively involved in Psych Central find it helps take them out of their own problems to develop empathy for others. And their problems are more manageable the more they help others.
