So, yesterday (Friday, July 31st) my mother asked me if I could help feed the dogs around 8:00AM. We have 4 dogs of our own, a foster dog, and a cat. It's a bit much to do when Mom is late for work, so she sometimes asks for my help.

According to Mom, I said "I'll be right down", but I don't remember saying that at all. All I remember is waking later and going downstairs for breakfast and to take my pills and assuming Mom had fed the dogs without asking for my help.

Am I losing it? Is it the meds I take? Or was I just talking in my sleep?

It's very easy to say yes to something when we are half asleep and then forget about it. Forgive yourself, it happens.

Sounds like you were more asleep than awake when you answered. It's not unusual to say things when half-asleep and not remember it. Heck, I tell people not to even bother asking me anything until I've had my first cup of coffee in the morning, heaven only knows what I might say until I've had my coffee.
Thanks for this!

I'm sure it was normal. It takes me a half hour to get my step daughter out of bed for school in the morning. Waking her at 5 minute intervals. She swears I only wake her once.
