So today i got home and got a call from an old friend i asked her how she was doing she said fine she asked me how i was i said fine.i asked her how her kids she said they both have seizures now and are in wheelchairs. The kids are 6 and 7 so i was shocked. she has seizures herself but that was old news the news got worse she told me she had been in the hospital the same time as me for attempted suicide she had seen me in the er when i had been in for attempted suicide but i hadn't noticed her we talked for a long time she was at the same mental hospital i was and couldn't believe some of the crazy stories i told about the hospital treatment (it was bad )but still when i look at it now i really am blessed. This girl had gone through a lot . losing two siblings. Seizures.kids with seziures .Suicide attempt. I have problems but not like that no. not like that

You are right to look at your blessings. Your friend does sound like she has had it really rough and I would not want to be in her shoes. When I look at my life I can generally always find someone who is worse off. I'm grateful for being blessed with some good days and a loving family.
