I've been going to a gym for a while now since July. During my time there I have made a few friends. We all sit in the sauna together and talk about everything. One person there I have gotten along with very well. She and I can relate in so many ways--bad marriages, our lives, beliefs. And also, it seems, eating related behaviors. She is about 18 years old than me. Yesterday was her birthday. I didn't have much time at the gym yesterday, so today I walked in and surprised her with a birthday balloon and small gift bag of goodies for her to play with and keep her young. She was so happy, I can't even describe how she felt. She loved every bit of it. It made me happy to see how much she appreciated my thoughts. I think our friendship just grew. That's a very good thing--I need more of this sort of thing. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{To All My Friends Everywhere, Online and 3D}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Inky - that's wonderful. You mentioned recently that all your friends were guys (no offence guys!) but I thought that was sorta sad. Girls needs girls, especially as we git older. I'm so glad you went out of your way to make a new friend. That was really sweet of you to bring her a gift. Sounds like she was really touched. Yeah Inky!! emmy

Inky, how awesome for you to take time to make someone else happy, when you are going through so much yourself right now. Many many blessings on you for this! Making a friend
