Today is my sons 10th birthday, and like the last 8 years worth of birthdays, I will not get to see him today, or any time soon, you would think that I would be used to this by now, believe me when I say I am not, I have just found many different ways to try and block it out, myself personally, I don’t celebrate my birthday, or xmas, or any other holidays, it is no fun when you don’t have someone to share them with, it is fathers day soon and I have to prepare myself to be able to get threw that also
Anyway back into my forever expanding bubble of denial I go……………….. |

((((((((mellors)))))) I'm sorry. And I understand better than you might think. I know it's hard.
Try to do something nice for yourself today, even if it's something as minor as eating a favorite food you don't allow yourself often. If you were female, I'd say it's a good day to pig out on chocolate, but men seem to lack the chocolate gene  .I hope you feel better soon. Candy |

I'm sorry too mellors, that you aren't going to be with your son.
I would be like you, I would not be used to it no matter how many years had gone by.  Oh yes, I know that route of denial very well...... *sigh*...... we're here for you and hope you will be kind to yourself on this difficult day.....  mandy |

mellors, if i lived near you, i'd pick you up and we'd tool around and then eat a boatload of my sour cream cookies.........get sick to our stomachs and get it all out and feel much, much better. we could talk about all of this and i'd rub your back and try to help you get through this nonsense. xoxoxo pat
