Raw carrots used to be the only vegetable I would eat, because my mom would give them to me and I would pretend I was Bugs Bunny. At that time I didn't like them cooked; too squishy.
Now I like all my vegetables squishy. Go figure. ------------------------------------ --http://www.idexter.com

LOL Could be cause as you age, squishy veggies are easier to chew?
![]() I like my veggies "al dente," if veggies can be described that way, but carrots are better squishy with butter on them. ![]() ![]() <font color=blue>"Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt" --Shakespeare</font color=blue>

Hey don't make fun of my wooden teeth, you young whipersnapper you!
In MY day we had to grow our own veggies and churn our own butter for them, and by that time we were too tired to eat them! AND WE LIKED IT! ![]() ![]() ------------------------------------ --http://www.idexter.com

Who you callin' a whippersnapper? Why, I can remember back when we didn't even have wooden teeth and we had to gum everything! Of course, that was back when Hector was a pup and unless you're a REAL OLD FOGIE, you wouldn't even remember Hector!

You were lucky to have a pup! We had to bring untamed wolves into our yard and pray that they didn't eat ya in your sleep!
BTW have you ever heard the "Four Yorkshiremen"? It's a classic Monty Python skit with four old men trying to outdo each other with the hardship stories. It is really really funny. I'm going to try to find a link... poop I can't find an audio link. You'll have to imagine the accents (it's funnier that way ![]() ![]() -- The world is what we make of it -- -- Dave -- <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.idexter.com>http://www.idexter.com</A>

LOLOL That was really funny!! I'd sure like to hear and see it, though. Maybe there's a video of it somewhere.
My son, David, was really into Monty Pithon. He may even have it in one form or another. Funny, hubby and I were sitting by the fire tonight and somehow we started quoting from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. We had each other rolling. The one neighbor that was with us didn't know what to make of us. It was hilarious to watch his expressions, though. He's slightly retarded so I can imagine what he was thinking to himself... "And this guy has the guts to say that I'm half a bubble off!" LOLOL Those two had started that while our neighbor sat entranced, watching the bubble go back and forth on my husbands string level. Ah fuzzy, got nothing to smile about. I don't think I even remember what a smile is. Been smoking too much and drinking too much and not sleeping enough. Just waiting for the sun.
