I promised I'd keep y'all updated and love y'all for caring.

First I'll start with little man. His surgery went well last Thursday. He was left with a large incision under his big toe. I had some concerns about it this weekend and drs. weren't too helpful so I tried some "mom stuff" and it now looks wonderful. See, the drainage points at either end had grown together. I was concerned, and that's all the detail I'll give...don't wanna gross anyone out. Update on Daughters and Little Man He went into the surgery with a cough and they went ahead and did the surgery. His cough still persisted and I was concerned about that as well. Today it seems better, but if it's still forceful as it was even yesterday, I'm going to try to have him seen before the weekend. He goes to have stitches out on tomorrow. I'm going to see if surgeon will listen to chest, but I know that's not what he does. Wouldn't hurt, though, huh? Update on Daughters and Little Man

My oldest is now 18 weeks along and having the dream pregnancy. She's never even gotten sick. She still has some fear due to the miscarriage just the month before this conception but is handling it well. She has the ultrasound to tell sex in a couple of weeks. I'll let y'all know. Update on Daughters and Little Man It's just perfect there, though. Her and hubby are still looking for their first home to bring their baby into the world in. She plans to quit work in September and will be a stay at home mom. My son-in-law is an engineer at our local military base and they've opted to go that route. My daughter plans to delve herself more into local missions as the baby grows and she can though.

My youngest daughter...whew...

She's maintaining. We had a scare last week due to low fetal movement. OB sent her immediately to hosp. They did a no-stress test and he seemed fine but much slower than he was. Daughter pinned that down to starting the new time-released beta blocker. She didn't take it the next day and he increased movement. The next day was even better. However, she immediately started having severe tachycardia again and the irregularity. She called and had dr call her back in the beta blocker that wasn't time released and they both appear to be doing better. It helps her irregularity and tachycardia, and JJ's movements are more normal.

Prior to any of this happening, they'd already said she needs to be seen weekly for weekly no-stress tests on JJ and a check of her heart, BP, etc. See, she's taking auto-immune drugs AND beta blockers. That's not ideal outside of pregnancy dr. said...certainly not with pregnancy. Her endo was honest with her in saying that her case has been very difficult and concerning. He said he's been outside his comfort zone with this the entire time.

Once she has the baby, of course they can treat the Grave's more aggressively...even removing thyroid if necessary.

She's such a brave, strong young woman...going through so much at 19. She's tired though. She wishes it were over and cries once in a while to say she can't take anymore. She deals with daily pain due to her back and the bad muscle pain the auto-immune therapy drugs can cause.

Many prayers are prayed daily.

I've been trying to paint in between taking care of her and little man, house and bills. I've been trying to get ready to set the nursery up here at the house. It's coming slow, but coming. I need help with it and don't have any. Hubby works daylight to dark six days a week, and really can't help alot.

I'm running around right now to get everything together for her baby shower on Saturday. I'm getting it all together, then oldest is going to host it so that I can stay beside daughter because her hyperthyroidism leaves her in an almost continual state of physical panic.

My daughters are maintaining and my grandchildren thriving it seems. My little man is my light and doing well.

Having PC to come to all throughout the day, and even work at times Update on Daughters and Little Man , is such a blessing and escape for me. It's where I can be the me that I can't see much here anymore...where I retain her. I have to stay here all the time to tend to my children, so it's also my escape though I can't leave the house. Y'all are such a blessing and I appreciate you.

KD

Thanks for letting us know how things are going, KimmyDawn. So nice to know that there is some silver in those clouds. I miss your wise and comforting posts -- but please don't decode that as a guilt-making idea. I just want you to know that you are missed.

It never rains but it pours it seems at times. I think you are doing a fabulous job of holding it all together. Sometimes we just have to keep pushing no matter how washed out we feel. I truly hope you can find a few minutes a day to do for YOU. Soak in a hot tub with some candles and relaxing scents, read a book, take a nap...LOL.

Know you are all in my thoughts and prayers Update on Daughters and Little Man

(((KIMMYDAWN))). It is good to hear from you again even though you must be exhausted with everything going on in your life at this time. I hope everything goes well; with the shower for your daughter. Take care of yourself as well (((KIMMYDAWN))). Soidhonia

KD,

I wish I lived closer so I could help with the shower and the painting!!

Since I can't come right now with right foot healing, I will just have to send prayers of support and strength.

Hugs,

EJ
