it's hard to say that it's "good" news, but Josh's assignment has been changed for Iraq. he will be 25 miles from Baghdad now and is in charge of a unit that keeps the tanks running.
the unit commander realized that he didn't have anyone else with Josh's expertise and changed his role. ' i feel so sorry for him, he's been in this unit a week and a half.....knows no one.......doesn't know how they will react in an emergency.....they know one another and he is so shy that he doesn't make friends easily..... i went up for the weekend and we cleared out the LR and most of the bedroom....putting stuff away and re=arranging furniture.....the house is fantastic and will really shine when everything is unpacked and stored......(one closet...built in 1910) Josh asked me to thank each one of you for your prayers and support.....he really appreciates it........xoxoxo pat |

I hope he's safer and gets to know people quickly, plus makes a few friends. I also hope he gets to come home in a short time.

My thoughts are with you, him, and all that are over there. The day the war started I pulled an inspiration card that I morphed into my tag line "Inner peace creates world peace", then on the flip side it says "You get world peace through inner peace. If you've got a world of people who have inner peace, then you have a peaceful world". I have not and will not put that card back in the deck until the war is over. I have it on my desk at work.
